Welcome to the official website of Brenchley & Matfield CofE Primary School, Brenchley, Kent. We hope you find it useful and engaging.
Brenchley and Matfield Primary School is a one-form entry (one class in each year group) Church of England Primary school for up to 210 children aged 5 to 11. Our school was founded in 1842 (before the state was actively involved in education) by the Church to serve our local and wider community. This remains our mission today. We are a Church of England school, funded primarily by Kent County Council, aiming to serve children and their families from all backgrounds, religions, colours or creed.
Our dedicated staff team is committed to provide a rich, dynamic and engaging curriculum which enables every child to succeed. We believe that every child is unique and we aim to understand each individual and help them grow in all aspects of their education.
Alongside the promotion of British Values the school has carefully selected the core Christian values of Integrity, Humility, Forgiveness, Compassion and Grace. This ethos and values are the foundation stones of all we do and achieve at Brenchley and Matfield Primary school.
As a Church of England school we have very close links with All Saint’s Church, Brenchley and St Luke’s Church in Matfield. We also have close links within the local community and the Diocese of Rochester. These along with many other local partnerships enhance our academic learning, personal and professional development.
We hope you will find time to visit us soon.
